Brief 5: Idea development

Creating an interface for our concept will help to communicate our idea better. The interface includes multiple different features.

Unique colour picker

For families and couples who often want their house to be unique the interface will allow them to find a medium between their favourite colours to find something that works for them, all the while making it entirely unique to their home.



From there, consumers can then find other matching colours to create a theme using our clever colour picker system.



Paint calculator



Another handy feature is our paint calculator. No longer will consumers need to try and estimate themselves or get it wrong which results in another trip back to the store. Instead the calculator is precise and allows for consumers to get exactly as much as they need.

The Room

Rough mockup of how we envisage the room to look like.


One idea that we thought could be useful to include is a feature wall that could display the stages of developing a wall from plaster through to primer to painted.



The other walls we thought could be useful to include tips, instructions etc that the consumer could have a glance at whilst choosing their colour scheme.
